Steven Nathan - CEO, BCom, BAcc, CA(SA), CFA
Steven was a Managing Director of Deutsche Bank in Johannesburg and London, spending more than 10 years in equity research and corporate finance. He was rated number 1 in both the banking and life insurance sectors, as well as for innovative research. In addition, he was also voted the best overall analyst in SA and EMEA (Emerging Europe, Middle East and Africa) [1]. During his tenure as Head of Research, the Deutsche Bank team was consistently rated number 1. Steven worked internationally, as head of both Deutsche Bank's Global and European banks research teams. Steven also advised Sanlam on selling its Absa stake to Barclays and Old Mutual on its BEE transaction.
David Shochot - Chief Product Architect, BSc, FIA, CFA
David is an actuary with 18 years experience in life insurance and investments. In life insurance he has worked in both product development and marketing, first at Southern Life and then at an underwriting agency within the Fedsure Group. He then worked as an equity analyst at Deutsche Bank where he was a ranked analyst in the life insurance sector. David has also worked as an independent consultant to several major financial services companies including Sanlam, FirstRand and Liberty Life. David also advised WipHold in its BEE transaction with Old Mutual.
Derek van Wyk - Head of Administration, BCom (Hons), BTech, CISA, CIA
Derek has more than 10 years experience in retirement fund administration, risk management, internal audit and compliance. He joined BOE in 1996 in the internal audit division and was part of the management team that started Ten50six Funds Administrators, which was subsequently bought by Glenrand in 2004. Prior to joining 10X Investments, Derek was Glenrand's administrations director in Cape Town.
Micha Katz - Head of technology, BA, MSc
Micha has 12 years local and international experience in information technology and has worked in a variety of environments including technology start-ups and multi-national companies. In his previous job, as head of IT at the Western Cape Clothing Bargaining Council, Micha was also responsible for managing the technology requirements of the union's umbrella provident fund.
Kim Harrison - Head of Finance, BCom, BAcc (Hons), CA(SA)
Kim has 14 years experience in auditing and financial management. Prior to joining 10X Investments, she acted as Truworths Limited's Group Financial Controller and sat on the Group's Social Accountability Committee.
Greg van der Riet - Office manager, BCom, PDM Enterprise Management
Prior to joining 10X Investments, Greg worked in London for Schroders Investment Management as a senior team member in fund accounting and custody. He has worked for Bank of New York in their investment department.

Keeping good company: our business partners
We have chosen highly reputable business partners to underline our serious intent, and we are proud that they have chosen to do business with us. We have appointed PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) as our auditors. PwC will also audit the 10X Retirement Funds. We have engaged Deutsche Bank to act as both prime broker and as the custodian of our clients' assets.
